USC Trojans (aka "LBU") start training camp

SC started camp the other day. I talked to a couple of the guys --- Brian Cushing, Rey Maualuga, Taylor Mays, Allan Bradford --- to get their feedback on how things were going. That's a big part of me and I want to stay connected with my old friends in college. I'll follow them closely all year. I shoot at least 1 or 2 of them a text every day just to share some funny stories. I still talk to Coach Norton and I'm sure I'll talk to him before games. He still gives me some coaching advice. I'll tell him about practice things that I did or didn't do well and he'll start coaching me more as a friend and mentor. I enjoy it.

  I think it's awesome how you are still connected with SC and Coach Norton. It shows the amazing football tradition our school has and the true notion of the "trojan family." Fight on!

    Ya. When you graduate from SC you never really leave. It is a bond for life.

  Good post, I think it's great when athletes stay in touch with the schools they came from. Do you have any predictions on what the key(s) to USC needs to do to beat OSU? Also, vice versa, what do you think OSU needs to do to win the game?

    Well I am confident that SC will take care of business, plus its the 1st home game of the year. The Trojans will be amped up to play in the colli. that is a great place to play. Be ready to see the Defense to showcase all the great players they have.

      I am definitely ready. As you said, 1st home game (at night as well) so the crowd will be juiced up for sure and there is going to be quite a few future NFLer's on the field putting on a show. I have been excited about this for a long time.

  USC NORTH FLORIDA ALUMNI CLUB!

  Aaron Anderson of the Georgia Alumni Club suggested I contact you.
  We have a small but active club here in JAX. Folks float in and out some since a lot of our people are Navy.
  However, we are going to meet on Saturday for the Ohio State game. We will start at 6 PM for grilled food and meeting new people and then watched the game at 8 PM. Bring whomever you like. We have lots of space and the games are always great fun.
