Las Vegas Raiders PR staff gets nominated for prestigious award
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Raiders, with their rich and storied history, command the respect they rightly deserve. Their legacy is deeply intertwined with the NFL's rapid growth, a testament to their enduring influence.

But another reason they need some respect that they so rightly deserve is because of the staff they have put together all around—not just in the front office, even though those workers are great as well, and not just President Sandra Douglass Morgan, either, while she is great.

But the Raiders have one of the best, if not the best, PR and communications teams in the league.

They consistently allow fans and media to get great content out of the coaching staff and players. But they also stay on top of the transcribing process and their press releases.

There really isn't anyone better in the business than the Raiders PR team, and they have proved that by being nominated for a prestigious award.

According to the Raiders' official website, the team has been nominated for the Pete Rozelle Award, which is voted on by the Pro Football Writers of America and is given annually to the NFL club public relations staff that "consistently strives for excellence in its dealings and relationships with the media."

They deserve to win this award, and I think most other media members would agree.
